OUR HISTORY
From a family home in Massachusetts to a national partner-focused business.
IMAC was founded in September 1994 by Norm and Eddie Klayman. What began as a father-and-son insurance marketing business operating from the family home in Randolph, Massachusetts, was built on a foundation of hard work, discipline, and entrepreneurial spirit.
From day one, Norm established high standards, including a strict suit-and-tie dress code, even though the office was located just steps from the family kitchen. The company’s initial focus was a single product, Thank You AD&D, which became the cornerstone of IMAC’s growth. For more than a decade, the program led the way with national insurance partners.
Over the years, IMAC has evolved from a one-product organization into a full-service partner, expanding the ways we help clients address complex needs. Today, we work alongside clients to provide comprehensive coverage solutions spanning employee benefits, risk management, and protection — driving meaningful value and sustainable business growth.
As IMAC enters its fourth decade of business, the company celebrates another important milestone. Alex Klayman joined IMAC following his college graduation, becoming the third generation of the Klayman family to be part of the business. His arrival reflects both the continuity of the company’s family roots and a commitment to carrying IMAC’s entrepreneurial spirit into the future.
More than 30 years after its founding, IMAC remains guided by the same values that inspired its beginning: innovation, integrity, hard work, and a commitment to delivering meaningful solutions for its partners and customers.

Edward currently oversees all sales and marketing functions for the company and manages relationships with financial institutions, associations, brokers, and insurance carriers. He is also a prior board member for PIMA (Professional Insurance Marketing Association) and presenter for the ABIA (American Bankers Insurance Association) and current 2026/2027 President for AIPAGIA.

Ray is a results-driven sales and growth executive with more than 25 years of experience, building strategic partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and driving scalable growth across the employee benefits and insurance markets. Bridget joined IMAC as Executive Vice President in January 2026, where she is responsible for expanding the company’s benefits, risk, and protection portfolios. Bridget brings a distinctive blend of corporate leadership, entrepreneurial execution, product strategy, and operational discipline. Her experience spans sales leadership, white-label distribution models, long-term care innovation, vendor ecosystem management, and benefits market expansion. She holds an MBA in Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Indiana University. Bridget serves on the boards of the Health & Voluntary Benefits Association and Noble Schools’ Summer of a Lifetime, reflecting her continued commitment to industry leadership and community impact. She previously served on the board of Working Credit. Bridget was named one of the National Diversity Council’s Most Powerful and Influential Women of Illinois in 2012.
